1 – Notes and pointers to help with the resolution process –
Parcel Viewer – Did you know you can find a great deal about your property and the surrounding neighborhood by using the publicly available, City supported, Parcel Viewer https://maps.kcmo.org/apps/parcelviewer/? On this site, you can view the status of code cases and other property detail like Trash Day, School District, Neighborhood Association and property lines.
Note – Not every Complaint is an Emergency and talking to your neighbor respectfully about a complaint is often the best way to get action and probably the best place to start.
Pointer – Complaints can be submitted anonymously and still carry the same weight according to the City Code Enforcement office representative for our area of the city (Kevin Blackmore) who was interviewed before compiling this information.
